  • Annapurna Region

The Annapurna North Base Camp Trek is a challenging and adventurous adventure in the Annapurna region, a region where no mountains higher than 8000 meters were climbed before 1950. The French expedition led by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal was the first to climb Annapurna I in 1950, overcoming obstacles like snowstorms and avalanches. The British Army expedition followed the same route in 1970. The trek offers panoramic views of Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhepuchare, Dhaulagiri, Natural hot springs, and Gurung culture. The journey starts from Pokhara and takes three to four days to reach the base camp.
