The Chisapani Helambu Trek is a unique trekking experience in Nepal, located north of Kathmandu Valley. The journey begins in Sundarijal, a popular picnic spot and water supply hub. The trek takes an hour to ascend through stone steps and passes through rhododendron forests via Shivapuri National Park. The journey then continues to the large Sherpa village of Melamchi Ghyang and the largest village in Helambu, Tarke Ghyang, offering diverse landscape and Himalayan views. Buddhist monasteries are also visited. The Chisapani Helambu Trek is perfect for travelers, with spring months offering blossoming rhododendron forests and autumn months offering unobstructed Himalayan views.
