The Numbur Cheese Circuit (NCC) is a 16-18 day trail in Nepal, connecting two river valleys in the Everest and Rolwaling region. Named after the unclimbed peak Numburchuli and one of Nepal’s first yak cheese factories, it offers stunning views of majestic Himalayan peaks, pristine nature, and unspoiled culture. The trail is mostly an eco-lodge camping trek and offers a unique home-stay experience among Sherpa communities. It welcomes both domestic and international visitors and offers a variety of terrain, including deep river gorges, glacial lakes, and terraced rice fields, temperate to alpine vegetation, Sherpa villages, and towering peaks. Visitors can also observe Yak Cheese factories and the Thodung Monastery.
